Please be sure to verify references and insurance for any roofer you may hire. It is extremely important as we are seeing some real problems with transit roofers doing poor quality jobs and causing further damage to customers homes. While there are many respectable roofers, it also true that with the storms of the past year we have seen those that are not.

In the last several weeks, we have had a number of customers suffer some significant interior damage due to poor quality roofing jobs. This causes not only an interior loss your home insurance may take care of, but it also causes the need to pay for replacement or repair of the roof which your home insurance will not pay for. Always ask for references, a certificate of insurance and a copy of the license bond for the roofing contractor you use. If they decline to provide this information, do not use them.
